I think it may be because when I installed & setup Thunderbird 3.1.2, there were no printers defined to the 's on a network & no local printers were defined I had to get them off the network. I don't have (on 1 machine) a "print.print_printer line". May have to abandon Thunderbird which would be a shame. I found this useful tip for XP (I'm on a Mac OSX 10.4.11) but it didn't work for me: I get status come and go quicker than I can read, but no printer action. I can't print emails despite printer working fine for all other apps (including Firefox). Just thought I'd try again as I had no luck before and I still can't print my emails from version 2.0.0.22.
